Strange Music is an American independent record label specializing in hip hop music and founded
by Tech N9ne and Travis O'Guin in 2000.
It is distributed through Fontana Distribution.
At the time, Tech had several engagements pulling him in several directions.Travis came into the
picture and offered Tech something he never had, his own label. They agreed upon a 50/50 division
of profits, with Travis acting as President and Tech as Vice President.
Strange Main
In February 2018, Strange Music and Billboard announced the creation of a new Pop based division
of Strange Music called Strange Main. Strange Main will be headed by former Kansas City based
radio personality for KMXV, better known as Mix 93.3, Ponch Hudgens, who will act as Executive
Director of the new label.
The labels flagship artist will be daughter of Strange Music C.E.O. Travis O'Guin, Mackenzie Nicole
(formerly known as Mackenzie O'Guin), who has been a part of projects with the label since Tech
N9ne's K.O.D. album in 2009. She released her debut solo album, The Edge on April 13, 2018.
In addition to Mackenzie Nicole, the labels roster will also consist of Above Waves, who signed with
Strange Music in 2016 and Strange's resident R&B singer, Darrein Safron, who had signed with
Strange back in 2015
LaTruth
North Carolina's bred lyricist LaTruth, grew up in poverty but never let his surrounding determine his future. Odds were stacked against him by losing his mother at a early age, then being raised by his grandmother. LaTruth began rapping in elementary school, performing in local talent shows and after winning multiple events, LaTruth felt hip hop was his calling. Truth has always been a hustler, besides selling narcotics, he began selling his mixtapes out of his car as Master P did during his rise to superstardom. LaTruth has amassed 7 million (5.9 Million Facebook, 434K Instagram, 170K Twitter) followers via social media without a major record deal or co-signs. He also has well over a 100 million views on socialmedia (Facebook, Woldstar Hip Hop, Instagram and YouTube) videos. The public figure (LaTruth) holds many titles such as (actor/producer/rapper) he holds. The past year, LaTruth has shown how to stay on the radar, acting and producing his short film "Will He Cheat" while staying in hip hop listeners ears producing hits "Bandzalistic", "Couldn't Walk A Mile" and his latest single "Don't Disrespect featuring the legend Snoop Dogg & KZ which is on all streaming sites in addition to Itunes and/or Google Play for purchase.

Big Greg
Big Greg debuted in 2010 with his "What's It Gonna Be Like" mix-tape while attending college. He was able to maintain a significant following during his tenure in college. Greg would perform around campus during student activity events and anywhere in the city that permitted him. During college, Greg began to draw many comparisons to Drake because he could easily create catchy lyrics in addition to singing on tracks. His first major single, "Like A Stripper", received regional acclaim around the south, which lead to many tours. Greg first award came in 2015 as he won the Hip Hop artist of the year at the Charlotte Music Awards International (CMAI). Later that year, riding off his new single and performance from the CMAI, Big Greg sealed a Hollywood Music in Media (HMMA) nomination, for his new hit single "Like A Stripper". In 2016, Greg nabbed the Matador Green Energy Drink theme song contest, which plays his theme song and all of their functions and fully sponsors his performance events anytime he performs around the country. That same year (2016), his follow up single "You Can Have It All" won the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) for song of the year in Hollywood, California. His 3rd single Oh No featuring label mate LaTruth was released on July 11, 2018.

I come from a little small town in Florida called Auburndale. I’m from the land of blue and gold and the fields of orange groves, where everyone would play manhunt till the lights turned on in the neighborhood. I was raised in a family of six, and I would legitimately live in some wild conditions. A two bedroom one bathroom, only five-hundred square feet, wasn’t a lot of room unless you asked childhood trauma to become your home.
I didn’t have the greatest childhood. Yet, I still did my best to make sure my siblings were able to survive. What I used to help us survive was music. From the moment I wake up every morning I would be singing, to getting my sisters ready for school. Music was our release, and it was the only escape from hearing the sound of beer bottles breaking to the random screaming from our parents constantly fighting. So a little song that I would just make up would surely ease their minds to fall asleep. As you can see my siblings are my world and I want to show them the world with music.
I want my music to make the world less gloomy with hard hitting bass and angelic voices. Music has always been an escape from my demons. From singing my heart out, I wish for my vocals to resonate well and empower others. I truly hope my music can bring others peace, protection, healing, and love the same way it has for me. I am empowered by discovering ways to heal others using my artistic expression.
